Boxing – Summer Games 2024
Until the London Games participants had to be amateurs, which often made the Summer Games the starting point of a great career for great boxers, like Cassius Clay (Mohamed Ali), since the Rio Summer Games in 2016 professionals can claim to qualify. Despite this arrival in the program more than a century ago, women had to wait until London in 2012 before making their debut.

The record for the most Olympic gold medals in boxing is held by three boxers: László Papp (Hungary), Félix Savón (Cuba), and Teófilo Stevenson (Cuba), each winning three gold medals. Papp achieved this in 1948, 1952, and 1956, while Savón and Stevenson accomplished it in the 1990s.

Oscar Swahn of Sweden is the oldest Olympic boxing gold medalist. He won the gold in the heavyweight division at the 1920 Antwerp Summer Games at the age of 41.
Most Consecutive Olympic Golds (Coach):
The Cuban boxing coach Alcides Sagarra is credited with guiding Cuban boxers to consecutive gold medals in the heavyweight division for four Summer Games: 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004.
Most Olympic Gold Medals (Country):
Cuba has been a dominant force in Olympic boxing, consistently winning numerous gold medals. As of my last update, Cuba holds one of the highest total counts of Olympic boxing gold medals among all nations.
