Vancouver Add-Ons

Rogers Arena (NHL Canucks, NBA) is a short walk away — a Whitecaps or Lions game combined with a Canucks game makes for one of the easiest two-sport weekends in Canadian sports. Both venues are in the Downtown core.

Seating Map

Two main levels — upper (400s) and lower (200s) — with sideline and endzone options at each. Row selection matters significantly in the lower bowl given its depth.

Best Value — Upper Level

Sidelines — Sections 408–420 / 435–447

Wide sectors along the field with large passages and a variety of row options — some of the most affordable seats in the building. Good views of the action and strong sightlines to the 360-degree video screen. The go-to for budget-conscious groups who still want a solid midfield angle.

Upper Level Endzone

Sections 401–407 / 421–434 / 448–454

Accessible seats behind the goalposts with good visibility. The 360-degree video screen is particularly well-positioned from these sections — replay value is strong. Wide aisles and comfortable viewing. Best for fans who prioritise value and access over sightline angle.

Best Sightlines — Lower Bowl

Sidelines — Sections 206–223 / 236–248

The best views of the action at BC Place. Each section has at least 34 rows — row selection is important. Lower rows give proximity to the field; higher rows give elevation and full-pitch perspective. Club seating within these sections adds lounge access and in-seat service.

Lower Bowl Endzone

Sections 201–204 / 224–234 / 249–254

Some of the largest sections in the stadium with 45–50 rows each. Sections 201–206 and 249–254 are Supporters Sections for Whitecaps matches — the loudest seats in the building during MLS games. Front rows are at near-field level; upper rows offer a strong aerial view of the full pitch.

Getting Here

Transit, Parking
& Entry

One of the most transit-accessible major stadiums in North America — the SkyTrain stops at the stadium door, making it the cleanest arrival and departure option for most guests.

SkyTrain
Stadium-Chinatown Station — Expo Line
Stadium-Chinatown Station on the Expo Line is steps from the main entrance. The cleanest arrival and post-event exit available — avoids all parking and rideshare surge completely. From Downtown hotels, most guests walk to a nearby station and are at the gate in minutes.
Parking
Limited — Pre-Purchase Recommended
Limited parking is available in adjacent lots and the broader False Creek area. Pre-purchase recommended for sellout events. Given SkyTrain accessibility, most groups are better served by transit than driving — particularly for post-event logistics.
Timing
60 Min Before
Standard arrival buffer. For major events and international fixtures, arrive 90 minutes early. SkyTrain frequency is high on event days — time your departure from the hotel accordingly and avoid the post-game rush by waiting 15–20 minutes inside.

FAQ

Common Questions

First-time visitor answers, plainly stated.

SkyTrain — Stadium-Chinatown Station on the Expo Line is steps from the main entrance and is by far the most practical option. If you're staying Downtown, you're likely within walking distance of a SkyTrain station and at the gate within minutes. Driving and parking is possible but unnecessary for most guests given the transit access.

It depends on the date and conditions — the roof opens or closes in approximately 20 minutes and the decision is made based on weather and event-organiser preference. Summer events often run with the roof open, which is genuinely spectacular. For concerts and events where sound control matters, the roof is typically closed. Check the event listing closer to the date for the expected configuration.

Sections 201–206 and 249–254 in the lower bowl endzone are the designated Supporters Sections for Whitecaps MLS matches. They're the loudest seats in the building and the most atmospheric for a soccer game. If you want to be in the middle of the singing and standing, that's where to be. If you prefer a quieter experience, choose a sideline section instead.

Yes — Rogers Arena is a 10-minute walk from BC Place through the Entertainment District. A Whitecaps or Lions game combined with a Canucks game is one of the easiest two-venue sports packages in Canadian sports. Both venues, one Downtown hotel, no transport required between them.

For most groups, lower bowl sideline sections (206–223 or 236–248) deliver the best all-round experience — good sightlines, strong atmosphere, and access to the full concourse. If budget is the priority, upper sideline sections are genuinely good and still give you decent angles. The Club Seats are the step-up for groups who want in-seat service and lounge access without a private suite.
