Matchday

Inside the Stadium

What to know before you arrive.

Weather
Open-Air — Plan for Charlotte Seasons
Fully open-air with no roof. Charlotte weather ranges from hot and humid in September–October to cold and wet in December–January. East side sections (515–530) get the most sun. West side lower sideline is significantly shadier and more comfortable for afternoon games. Always check the forecast.
Sun Exposure
East Side Gets the Most Sun
Sections 515–530 receive the most daily sun — meaningful for afternoon September and October kickoffs. West sideline sections 128–135 are behind the sun. If selecting seats for a hot-weather game, the west sideline is worth the premium. Avoid sections 104–107 in lower corners for afternoon games due to direct sun exposure.
Transit
LYNX Blue Line — Most Reliable
LYNX Blue Line stops at Stonewall Station, a short walk from the stadium. Connects South End, Midtown, and Uptown Charlotte. Avoids all parking congestion. Uptown Charlotte is walkable from multiple hotels — many groups staying in the stadium area can simply walk without any transit.

FAQ

Common Questions

First-time visitor answers, plainly stated.

Despite being on the same physical tier, the 300 level club seats include Silver Club Level amenities — private lounges, upscale dining, and dedicated club concourse access — while the 200 level endzone sections do not. The 200 level endzone also has a different concourse entry: you exit from the bottom of the section rather than the top, so row selection matters more if you plan to visit the concourse frequently.

West side — sections 128–135 on the lower sideline are significantly shadier and have the sun behind them for afternoon games. East side sections 515–530 get the most daily sun exposure. For a September or October 1 PM kickoff, the west side lower sideline is worth choosing if your budget allows.

Yes — Bank of America Stadium is one of the most walkable NFL venues in the country. Most Uptown Charlotte hotels are within a 10–15 minute walk of the stadium gates. For groups at the Omni, Westin, Marriott, or Hilton Uptown, walking is genuinely the best option — faster than any transit or rideshare on game day.

Sections 106–107 are adjacent to the home team tunnel — players run out directly in front of these corner sections pre-game, making them a strong choice for groups who want close player access. Sections 136–137 are at the visitor tunnel. Both are in the lower corners and offer a unique vantage point that pure sideline sections don't provide.
