The Experience

Opened in 2020 at a cost of $1.9 billion, Allegiant Stadium is a fully enclosed, climate-controlled venue with a translucent ETFE roof that floods the interior with natural light. Designed for both the Las Vegas Raiders and the spectacle economy of the Strip — concerts, boxing, championship events, and conventions all run through this building.

Inside

The Stadium

  • Fully enclosed and climate-controlled — weather is never a factor; Las Vegas desert heat irrelevant inside the building
  • Translucent ETFE roof allows natural light to flood the interior while maintaining full weather protection
  • Al Davis Memorial Torch — 85 feet tall, the world's largest 3D-printed object, dedicated to the Raiders' late owner
  • Stadium art collection from local and international artists throughout concourses — sculptures, paintings, and installations
  • Moveable field tray allows the playing surface to be removed for concerts and conventions, making Allegiant one of the most versatile event venues in the US
  • High-density Wi-Fi, HD video boards, and a feature-rich mobile app throughout
Day Of

Arrive Ready

  • 90 minutes early for Raiders games — climate control means no weather pressure, but traffic and parking are genuine factors from Strip-area hotels
  • Las Vegas Monorail connects the Strip corridor to the stadium area — the most reliable option from mid-Strip hotels
  • LAS (Harry Reid International) is approximately 10 minutes away — the best airport-to-venue access in the NFL outside of SoFi
  • Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is the primary option from Strip resorts — pre-book your return before kickoff, post-event congestion on the Strip is substantial
  • The enclosed, climate-controlled environment means dress code is comfort-based year-round — no weather gear needed regardless of when you attend

Matchday

Inside the Stadium

What to know before you arrive.

Climate
Fully Enclosed — Las Vegas Heat Irrelevant
Allegiant Stadium is fully enclosed and climate-controlled year-round. Las Vegas summer temperatures regularly exceed 105°F — inside the building, this is completely irrelevant. The ETFE translucent roof floods the interior with natural light while maintaining a comfortable interior temperature for every event regardless of the season or time of day. One of the strongest weather-related practical advantages of any venue in this series.
The Al Davis Torch
85 Feet — World's Largest 3D-Printed Object
The Al Davis Memorial Torch stands 85 feet tall and holds the official record as the world's largest 3D-printed object. Named for the late Raiders owner who moved the franchise from Oakland to Las Vegas, it's visible throughout the interior and serves as the architectural centrepiece of the building. Worth seeing up close before or after the event when crowds thin out.
Las Vegas Context
Strip ~2 Miles — Build the Full Trip
Allegiant Stadium is approximately 2 miles from the centre of the Strip — close enough to make a full Las Vegas experience easy to build around any Raiders game or major event. The venue is designed with the Las Vegas entertainment economy in mind: major concerts, boxing and MMA events, international soccer, and entertainment spectacles all run through this building. A Raiders game is often one of several things happening in Las Vegas on the same day.
Getting Here

Transit, Parking
& Entry

Las Vegas Monorail connects the Strip to the stadium area. LAS Airport is ~10 minutes. Rideshare is the primary option from Strip resorts — pre-arrange your return before the event.

Las Vegas Monorail
Strip Connection
The Las Vegas Monorail connects mid-Strip resort corridor stations to the stadium area. Covers MGM Grand, Bally's/Paris, Flamingo/Caesars, Harrah's/The LINQ, Las Vegas Convention Center, and the Westgate. For groups staying at or near these resorts, the Monorail is the cleanest option — avoids Strip traffic entirely and gets you to the stadium without rideshare wait times post-event.
Harry Reid International
LAS ~10 Min
Las Vegas's Harry Reid International (LAS) is approximately 10 minutes from Allegiant Stadium — excellent for fly-in groups attending a single event. Direct rideshare from arrivals to the stadium or to Strip hotels for groups building a longer trip around the game.
Parking & Rideshare
Pre-Purchase — Post-Event Strip Traffic
Allegiant Stadium parking lots surround the venue — pre-purchase passes for Raiders games and major events, as lots fill quickly. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) from Strip hotels is the most common arrival method for visitors. Pre-book your return ride before entering — post-event Strip congestion with 65,000 people dispersing can extend rideshare wait times significantly. VIP parking is included with all suite packages.

Where to Stay

Hotels & Neighborhoods

Las Vegas offers more hotel inventory within 5 miles of a major venue than any other American city. The Strip is the natural base — choose by location on the Strip to optimise your Monorail or rideshare access.

Best Transit Access

Mid-Strip

MGM Grand, Bally's/Paris, Flamingo, Caesars, Harrah's, The LINQ — all on the Monorail line. The optimal base for Allegiant events combined with Strip access. Most hotel categories well-represented in this corridor.

Most Upscale

North Strip / Wynn Area

Wynn, Encore, Venetian, Palazzo — the highest concentration of luxury properties on the Strip. ~20–25 min to Allegiant by rideshare. No direct Monorail connection but the best hotel quality available in Las Vegas.

Most Convenient

Paradise / Airport Area

Closest hotel cluster to Allegiant Stadium — 5–10 min by rideshare. Multiple full-service properties near the LAS airport corridor. Best for groups who want to minimise travel logistics around the event itself.

Most Characterful

Downtown / Fremont Street

The original Las Vegas — Fremont Street Experience, older casino properties, and a more local crowd. ~25 min from Allegiant. Best for groups who want the classic Las Vegas aesthetic rather than the modern Strip.

Luxury

  • Wynn Las Vegas — North Strip flagship
  • Bellagio — mid-Strip, fountains, most iconic
  • Venetian / Palazzo — largest rooms on the Strip
  • MGM Grand — on Monorail, largest single resort

4-Star

  • Caesars Palace — mid-Strip, Monorail access
  • Paris Las Vegas — mid-Strip, Monorail
  • Aria — CityCenter, slightly off Monorail but walkable
  • Resorts World — North Strip, newest major property

Upper-Midrange

  • The LINQ Hotel — mid-Strip, on Monorail
  • Flamingo — mid-Strip, Monorail, strong value
  • Courtyard / Marriott near LAS — closest to stadium
  • Matched to date, inventory, and group size

Raiders home games and major events at Allegiant drive Strip-wide demand — mid-Strip properties fill fastest. For Super Bowl week, playoff games, or headline concerts, book as early as possible. Paradise/Airport area hotels are the best late-booking fallback for proximity to the stadium itself.

FAQ

Common Questions

First-time visitor answers, plainly stated.

Completely. The building is fully enclosed and climate-controlled — Las Vegas's 105°F summer heat is not a factor inside. The ETFE translucent roof lets natural light in but the temperature is managed regardless of outside conditions. Unlike open-air or retractable-roof venues, there is no weather planning involved for any event at Allegiant Stadium at any time of year.

Las Vegas Monorail from mid-Strip resorts — it avoids traffic entirely and connects directly to the stadium area. For resorts not on the Monorail line (Wynn, Bellagio, Aria, Venetian), rideshare is the best option. It's roughly 15–20 minutes by rideshare from most Strip properties. Pre-book your return trip before the event begins — post-game rideshare waits with 65,000 people dispersing onto the Strip can run 30–45 minutes without pre-arrangement.

The Owner's Club is the only all-inclusive unlimited food and beverage suite at Allegiant — everything is included for the duration of the event, including alcohol. Traditional Suites have a private open-air balcony with theater seating, a lounge, bar and kitchenette, but catering is not automatically unlimited. The Owner's Club also has a more exclusive lounge and tends to be on the prime midfield sideline positions. For most corporate groups, the all-inclusive structure of the Owner's Club makes total cost management simpler.

The Premium Loge Box for groups of 4 — individual HDTVs, a drink cooler, USB charging, food included, VIP entrance, and all 200-level club access. It's a semi-private experience that delivers most of the premium amenities without a full suite commitment. For larger groups on a tighter per-head budget, 300 Level Premium sections (310–314, 336–340) include Club package access at a mezzanine price point.

Allegiant Stadium is one of the busiest event venues in the US. UNLV Rebels football plays here, plus the stadium hosts major concerts (the removable field tray makes it adaptable for stage configurations), boxing and MMA events, international soccer matches, college bowl games, and conventions. The Super Bowl has been hosted here. The building is designed to accommodate Las Vegas's year-round entertainment economy — events run through it consistently outside of the NFL schedule.
