Why attend the 2018 PGA Championship?
This year's event sees the PGA Championship turn 100 as Bellerive hosts the competition for the second time. Bellerive last hosted the PGA Championship in 1992. The 2018 tournament will be the last time the PGA Championship is held in August. The tournament, currently the third major of the PGA calendar, will move to May from 2019 onward. The move will transform the tournament into the second major of the season.
Golf fans will not only get four great days of competitive play at this year's tournament, August 9th to the 12th, but they will get to experience one of America's top cities. St. Louis is the Gateway to the West, with centuries of history on display. In addition, St. Louis is known as one of the country's best sports towns. There won't be a shortage of golf fans and events centered around the PGA Championship during the week.
Visitors can see the PGA Championship practice rounds on August 6th through 8th. While many fans love to watch the four match days, the three practice rounds offer golf lovers the chance to get up close to PGA pros. Fewer people means fans won't have to fight with the crowds to see the best tee off. Practice rounds are also great for getting autographs or selfies with the players.
BELLERIVE COUNTRY CLUB
Opened in 1897, Bellerive has hosted three PGA major events in its 121-year history. The 1965 US Open was the first major to be played on the course. The event took place just five years after the course was moved to its current location on the western side of St. Louis. Bellerive had to wait nearly 30 years for the next PGA major tournament. The 1992 PGA Championship took place on the course, and since then, it has hosted three other PGA non-major events.
The par-71 course is renowned for being long, and should play to the strengths of golfers with long drives. The golfer who can navigate the course and outlast 155 other players will win a piece of $10 million purse.
PGA CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
Golfers at the PGA Championship in 2018 will compete for the Wanamaker Trophy. The idea for the tournament was created by department store owner Rodman Wanamaker. The idea behind the tournament was to see which professional player was the best of the best. While the Masters has the smallest field and the US Open is a combined amateur-professional golf tournament, the PGA Championship is solely for PGA pros. The original tournament format saw golfers participate in match play. However, in 1958 the tournament became stroke play, which continues to this day.
The PGA Championship has regularly thrown up surprises at the end of the golf season. The 2017 edition saw Justin Thomas walk away with the Wanamaker Trophy. It was Thomas' first ever major title victory. Thomas went on to win the PGA's FedEx Championship and the PGA Player of the Year award. Without his success at the PGA Championship, Thomas may not have claimed the other two trophies. This season could once again inspire a player to even more success.
Visitors to the 2018 PGA Championship will see the end of an era, as the tournament is played in August for the final time. It will be a great week of PGA play, and fans can experience one of the world's top golf events and the great city of St. Louis all at the same time.
Why attend an F1 race?
F1 is one of the most popular sports in the world. Races attract people from all over the globe, and unlike some events, F1 races are global. During the season, F1 events are held in Asia, Europe, South American, Oceania and North America. Fans of motorsports can attend races in any of the amazing host cities. Monaco, Melbourne and Shanghai are just three of the diverse cities fans can travel to see a race. Not only will F1 fans be able to enjoy a great day at the racetrack, but they can combine the race with a holiday. While not at the track watching practice sessions or the actual race, fans can be lounging on the beaches of Sao Paulo or enjoying the casinos of Monaco. Yes, F1 is truly global and the motorsport can take fans to all corners of the world.
TOP F1 RACES
The F1 season consists of just 21 races, so it is difficult to break the season down into a shortlist of top races. However, there are some races that stand out more than others. The Monaco Grand Prix is the most famous F1 race on the calendar. The 2018 event will roll through the principality's streets on Sunday May 27. The Monaco GP is one-third of the Triple Crown of Motorsports.
On July 8, F1 will arrive in England at the famed Silverstone Circuit. The world famous British Grand Prix is entering its last two years at the Silverstone course. British F1 driver and reigning World Champion Lewis Hamilton has won the grand prix in four straight years. Everyone will be gunning to beat Hamilton in 2018, but he has just been too good at Silverstone and could win it for a fifth straight year.
The United States Grand Prix is another major attraction in F1. The race takes place in Austin, Texas at the Circuit of the Americas racecourse. The 2017 edition not only had F1 cars speeding around the track, but pop singer Justin Timberlake performed live at the event. This year's United States GP will take place on October 21.
TOP F1 DRIVERS 2018
Lewis Hamilton comes into the 2018 F1 season having won his fourth world title in 2017. It took Hamilton 18 of the 20 races a season ago to win the championship. He goes into the new year as the favorite. But he will need Mercedes to provide him with another great car to drive.
Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel is coming off of a disappointing season despite finishing second. Vettel started the 2017 year strongly, but faded during the midway point of the season. The emotional German had difficulty controlling himself at times, and it allowed Hamilton to top him in the end.
The 2018 season could be the year a new star breaks out in F1. Valtteri Bottas, Kimi Raikkonen and Daniel Ricciardo are all emerging drivers that will be chasing Hamilton and Vettel. Bottas and Ricciardo both recorded race wins in 2017, and could push for more this year. Max Verstappen is another rising star in the motorsport. Although he won two races last term, he was hurt by two early retirements and needs to be more consistent. Verstappen could be the next big thing in F1 if he eliminates the mistakes of last year.
The 2018 F1 season is set to be a non-stop thrill ride. The best way to experience the fastest cars in motorsports is to be there live. The season is 21 races long in some of the most gorgeous cities in the world. Don’t miss out on the exciting new F1 season.

The Masters is always the first PGA major tournament of the season. Just as the winter turns to spring in the United States, the tournament returns, and ushers in an intense period of the golf calendar.

The 2019 tournament will tee off on April 11th and will run until the 14th at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. The four-day tournament will host the best in the game. For fans travelling to Augusta, it is a whirlwind of all-day golf followed by fun away from the course.

Alongside music, there are special breakfasts held during the week that allow fans the chance to dine with PGA players, past and present.
Dubbed by some as "Disneyland for adults," Masters week is a party for golf fans and an event that sports-lovers will savor. In addition to the various events, attendees can explore the Augusta Museum of History, the Morris Museum of Art or experience some of the local outdoor fun. Of course, most visitors will be spending their time at Augusta National watching the greatest golfers in the game. The 2019 Masters is an event that true sports fans shouldn't miss. Why attend the 2019 NBA All-Star Game?
Every February, the National Basketball Association (NBA) hosts the featured event of NBA All-Star Weekend, an exhibition game matching a mix the league’s star players, who are drafted by the two players with the most votes. Each team consists of 12 players for which fans, players and online voting select who will make the starting lineup. The non-start players, or reserves, are chosen through a vote made by the head coaches. However, coaches cannot vote for their own players. Though the game doesn’t impact any team’s rankings, it is kept competitive by the winning team being given the option to send the donations to a charity of their choice. In 2018, star players LeBron James and Stephen Curry formed their own teams for the All-Star Game. In 2019 in whose hands will the power fall to create the ultimate NBA All-Star team?
NBA ALL-STAR HISTORY
The idea for the NBA All-Star Game was originally created to bring attention back to national basketball after a college basketball point-shaving scandal deflected much of the focus away from the NBA. The league’s publicity director, Haskell Cohen suggested hosting an exhibition game similar to the Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game. Despite some criticism, Cohen insisted that the game would be successful and in fact, the game drew more attendance than that entire season’s average attendance. Boston Celtics’ Ed Macauley was named the first NBA All-Star Most Valuable Player. Who will be 2019’s All-Star Game MVP? Experience the league’s best players competing live to find out.
Why attend the 2019 Super Bowl?
The culmination of the National Football League (or the NFL)’s regular season, the Super Bowl has been the most-watched American television broadcast frequently over the years and is among the most-watched sporting events in the world. The Big Game has taken place annually since 1967 and is now considered by some to be an unofficial American holiday, deemed “Super-Bowl Sunday.”
As of today, the Pittsburgh Steelers hold the most Super Bowl Championship titles and NFL players, Charles Haley and Tom Brady - each with five Super Bowl rings - hold the record for the most rings won by single players.
Because a large portion of the world is tuned into the Super Bowl each year, companies develop their most expensive advertisements solely for this broadcast. These commercials have become almost as significant as the game to viewers. Along with some of the best football, viewers look forward to the game’s famous pre-game halftime shows featuring live performances from various well-renowned artists.
The only thing better than watching the Super Bowl through live broadcast is watching it live in person.
