What to watch as you await Super Bowl Sunday
Super Bowl LIII kicks off this Sunday, February 3 and it's all the rage in sports news. However, here are this weekend's sporting events that aren't the Super Bowl, but are worth tuning into while you wait.
Saturday, Feb. 2
NBA regular season games begin at 4 p.m. on FSDT with the LA Clippers at Detroit Pistons and end with Philly's 76ers against the Sacremento Kings at 9 p.m., with a whole lot of solid matchups in between
The PGA Phoenix Open tees off today and continues throughout the weekend live on GOLF NBC. Over 130 golfers will be looking to start their 2019 off with a win, including heavy-hitters like Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas.
Spend Saturday at the Races... Ahead of the Kentucky Derby, Fox Sports returns with their coverage of some of the top thoroughbred horse races this Saturday on FS2.
Game Day Sunday, Feb. 3
Sunday morning means football... or soccer. Manchester Unitedbegins with the first of two Premier League games of the day against Leicester City at 8:05 a.m. Then at 10:30 a.m., it's Man. City vs. Arsenal live on NBC.
At 11:30 a.m., two top-ranking NHL teams, the Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals face off on NBC.
Official Super Bowl coverage begins at 1 p.m. on CBS, with the Big Game kicking off at 5:30 p.m., Patriots vs. Rams.
